I am a multi disciplinary artist currently focussing on semi abstract, figurative painting. I
am interested in the space where environment meets human experience, where I can
express physical and emotional closeness, relationships and connections. Colour forms a
large part of my practice and I
I take time in the studio mixing these in oil, every colour chosen to amplify the mood in
the painting. I want the viewer to enjoy the result as much as I do.
I work vigorously with energy, applying gestural brush strokes on to the canvas. I relish
the texture of thick, flowing paint, enjoying working wet on wet, covering the canvas,
often completing a work in one session.
