RACHEL GLITTENBERG

With over forty exhibitions to date, Rachel Glittenberg is a professional contemporary artist who paints in oils and acrylic. Currently based in East Sussex, she is a graduate of the University of East London and Wimbledon School of Art.

Using a mix of her imagination, drawing and photography, Glittenberg borrows elements from history and folklore to explore what it means to be a woman in the 21st Century. She specializes in painting expressive, figurative works, which blur the lines between reality and fiction.

Glittenberg has been shortlisted for the Hastings Museum Open, Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize, Rye Society Of Arts Summer Exhibition, Towner Art Gallery Sussex Open. She facilitates a weekly Drawing Circle on Zoom.
