These paintings are about adults as children and children as adults, and the complicated relationships between different personalities.
I canibalise my own experiences and reshuffle them to create images that have an emotional content.
The paintings appear as montages and are not literal, but I think the work conveys a sort of passive anxiety and hopefully manages to convey some of the frustrations of the human condition.
Humour is often present in a lot of what I do, it’s important to me; it's much needed, because life is ridiculous.
