Georgina Davenport

I am a young artist based in and working in London.

My favoured medium is drawing. I use conte pastels, coloured pencils, and charcoal to make works inspired by what I see.

I am drawn to ephemeral moments: moments of transience.

With subjects such as fabric in motion, and shapes of light shifting over a surface I try to capture this impermanence, allowing viewers to appreciate details they may otherwise overlook.

I hope my images have a sense of tension in their impermanence.
