Sheena Vallely

Sheena Vallely ia an Irish artist who works as a printmaker. She has a BA in fine art and design from Liverpool College of art and an MA in printmaking from Camberwell College of Arts, London.

Sheena has had solo exhibitions in Ireland, Germany and The Netherlands and continues to exhibit in the UK and internationally. She has had group exhibitions predominantly in London including ICA, RA Summer show and Mall Galleries as well as in Berlin and Potsdam. 

With John Say, Sheena is co-founder of reassemble, a small book publisher of Artist’s Books. reassemble has works in private and public collections including Tate Library and was awarded the Birgit Skiöld Memorial Trust Prize for its first publication, 4Fold Digital Strategies.

Having been a lecturer in printmaking over the years at London College of Communication, University of Hertfordshire and Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge, Sheena is now an associate teacher in drawing at the University of Bristol Botanic Garden where she runs her own drawing courses to explore new approaches to drawing from nature. 

Sheena will travel to Antwerp, Belgium in July 2022 for an artist’s residency to begin a new body of work in print at Foundation Veerle Rooms.
