The themes and imagery that run through my work are women, work, interiors/home and motherhood. My work is a reflection of my current stage in life. It’s a way for me to work through ideas as I try to balance my roles of mother to two young children, part time professional and artist.

Recently I have focussed on making monotypes with gouache. I like the tactile and intimate qualities of works on paper.  And, I enjoy how the printmaking process removes some of the control I have over the image. Once a mark is made, there’s no going back.
